Pucon is incredible.Plata River and more...

WOOOOWWW the last two week we just kayaking all the time, we ready open KayakPucon for the new summer season and we are ready to work and kayaking good , like all the time.

Pucon is full of kayakers and water in all the rivers, is very cold Nov. for the moment but we believe that Dec. coming better...

Well, here is a full Pictures report from the one of most awesome river (In my list) of the Pucon area "The Plata" , no many kayakers run this river , just because is very dificult to find the Put-In, but here is a full report of the Plata River, here in my home town Pucon.

This time I was there whit one of my favorite Team for paddle "The Demshitz Bros". enjoy the show of one incredible Day in the Plata River:

So good to be in home again, the water level, after 2 week of continue rain is perfect now, you can kayaking all the river arrow the town and pucon have more and more kayakers every day.

We ready start we our first "Kayaking trip" for this year and the situation is Magic perfect, water level is good , perfect people make kayak here so good...

The last two week we are kayaking good but some time, all day in home because the rain, very very hard rain, but that is good for the rivers...

Well, I hope the next week find more friends and continue boating the good here in my awesome home town Pucon...

Wow, the Kanumesse was incredible good time here in Germany, we never be in an exhibition like that before, more then 60 Outdoor Sport Companys was there, was so good to see again so many good friends and party good again...

Was so good to talk and have fun whit some of my favorite sponcer like Super Tom from ShredReady (happy like all the time), All the Kober Paddle Family (The new Somby Paddle look awesome), Nick and Emily from JacksonKayak Super Style the two 1 place on the World in Thun.

My good time in Thun for the World Champion 2009

Yes, after a long time summer of work here in Italy, we take some days to enjoy a small trip to Switzerland in Thun for have incredible fun whit all my kayaking friends that I didnt see for a long time...

I love Switzerland, I love the Kebab and the people are incredible friendly, the City of Thun was full of life for the competition, many kayakers walking around the city whit a kayaks and paddles, skates and you can fell the kayak lifestyle for all over the city,,I love kayaking partys...

The World was incredible good organize and the City of Thun is incredible beautifull, the city was full of kayakers from all over the world, I just take two days to say What sap to all my good friends that I dont see for a long time ago...

The Switzerland Alps are incredibles, I take more then 300 pictures in all the trip.
I want to say Incredible thanks to Huevo from Costarica and all the incredible Jackson Kayak Family for be so friendly whit me and for bring me a kayak for use on the wave, The new Start boat is awesome, but I cant wait to see the new Creek Boat...jejeje....

Wooooooow, the new world record is here and is now, the incredible Tyler Bradt in help colaboration whit the rest of the YGP boys run the Palouse fall, and this is the new Level of runnig incredible big water fall, the Palouse falls have 52 Mts. (186 Feet) and was runnig the 21 of April in Washington USA...

What can I say, pucon have more and more surprices every day and every year, I was running the Nevados river for some years and was all the time very popular the normal TakeOut, but no more.

Also, have the oportunity to paddle whit a solid and good crew, of course is very important and make the big diferent, I love to paddle whit the Garcias brother and the Deam Shitz team, is good to have peolple that whant to Fire Up good all the time...and run the shit.Thanks to Jared Seiler from Pyranha team and Deam Shitz for make the run more easy and show us the line en el Diablito...

Another 1.D in my home town.

After looking this water fall for a long time and looking also for
the perfect water level, here is, one of the most biggers water fall that
my home town Pucon have.
The Panqui River is a very easy class IV river, but whit a very big portage at the middle of the run.
Last year I was looking whit my dude C. Korbulic and we dont find the perfect water level.
This year The Garcias Brother are here and we start to paddle like 1 week ago, so we come back to the Panqui and all was perfect, I was so happy when Ian say: I love this water fall, lets runner.

After the incredible help of Jared Seiler making safe from the bottom Ian and I fire Up the new big Water fall...

Patagonia sin represas Trip Report

The trip to the south cant be most better, the Patagonia of Chile and Argentina is incredible.
We drive for 3.800 Km. in 16 days to arrive in the magic Backer River, the Backer river is one of the most bigger rivers in Chile and run whit 55.000 CFS.
In the way to the Backer we visit the Gol-Gol river in Chile, the Escondido river in Argentina and the incredible Futaleufu river.

When you do a kayaking trip that long, the crew is something very important and this time we make a perfect team : Ema my girlfriend, my best dude Lj Groth, Evan Garcia, Severin from Europe and Juanito from Peru.

At the moment that we decide to do this trip, I was very interesting to know more and more about the “Patagonia sin Represa” http://www.patagoniasinrepresas.cl/ . This is a very big problem here in Chile, just because the goberment of Chile is ready to make a dame in the Backer and the Pascua River.



The big problem about this incredible Backer river is that the next 2009 are going to be built 5 different Dam that are going to be built on the rapid section.
Patagonia Sin Represas is fighting whit the big electricity company Endesa and they want to built the electric deam in the big Backer and Pascua rivers and people is complitly opositive at this deam project...

After have the oportunity to run this incredible river I feel totaly sad just becuse all this beautiful place go to disappear and the future generation dont go to have the oportunity to run this aweseome rivers....

Park-and-Hucks Fun in Pucon

Iam so happy to see again my kayaking dude Chris Korbulic here in Chile, the same day that he arrived, we fire up some of the most awesome water falls here in the pucón area, the incredible Tres Saltos and the beautifull Coilaco drop.

I can say that the water level here in town is good, but just for some rivers, one of my favorite river dont have water (the Desahue) but the rest of the rivers are full of water.

I also want to say be carefull whit the Carhuello river beacuse we run the water falls section and is full of tree.

In the last four days we was scouting and looking for some new stuff on the Rio Blanco and in the Raigolil area, thats mountains are full of beautifull stuff like hot springs, vallies and people, pure chilean people, Thanks to Señora Ines from Termas del Rio Blanco for lets us stay in the Termas and camping there.

Look like another good season coming here in Pucon...

Spot Commercial.

Hey there every body; after film a awesome commercial whit the famous kayak and river photographer Jock Bradley, Tao Berman and all the incredible boys of Twist films production we feel so good.
The spot publicity was on the middle canyon of the Llancahue River (on the second droop), Palguin River, Fuy river and the famous Tres Saltos water falls.
We film for seven days and all the location program was for two weeks.

Jock Bradley is the creator of the famous Kayak Book “Torrent” and reproduction for kayak session and Paddle Magazine, work whit hem was very progressive and helps me a lot.
About Tao Berman, well he is on the top; we make a good river and friend relationship and of course we make serious kayaking plans for the future.
Twist Film; very pro and serious film company and that make the job easier. (They know what sap).

Pucón is awesome, is incredible how easy you can find water falls Beautifulls Mountains, lakes, volcanos and good weather.
That makes this place, perfect for film commercial and stuff…

Middle Palguin Run Number Four very Special.

I love this run, I love this water fall, this section is the shit, is very close to the town and is incredible soft on the bottom, something that I really love is the entry...

In this time when I be on the bottom I was so happy because I remember my very special friends Crhis and Ian for the 1D day...

Salto Nilahue

Wooow, Salto de Nilahue. A year and a half ago the waterfall was first run by some good friends of mine, LJ Groth and Trip Jennings, and can be seen in the movie Epicocity Project. Shortly after their run the drop collapsed and has been constantly changing over the past few months. Three days I was lucky and drove down there with a couple buddies Ian Garcia and Cris Korbulic to find a massive 65 foot sliding falls. The three of us all ran the huge falls for the first decent of the new waterfall.

Like always I felt very comforitable and safe paddling my mega rocker.

Another beautiful first decent in Chile.

Middle Palguin is back

During April of 2006 an unfortunate event happened to the famous Middle Palguin. There was a landside and
two of the biggest, cleanest and best drops in the area were destroyed, this year this section have a incredible new water fall.

I am so happy to say that pucon have a new water fall, the middle Palguin is came back.
For all the kayakers who know this section is a awesome new.

We be scouting this water fall for a long time and yesterday was the day.
I want to say thanks to my good friends Ian Garcia and Chris Korbulic for show me the good again
and be part of this beautiful day. I will remember this magic moment in the time for revive the middle Palguin.

When I was on the bottom of this incredible new water fall I remembered so many good friends…

I want to take this opportunity to recommend the Mega Rocker for run big water falls, is very easy to roll, comfortable, dry and
perfect feeling on the bottom of a big water fall, if you are thinking in go big, think in a MEGA ROCKER.

Waiting for the good water level for 2 week, the plata river is one of the good here in the Pucon area.
The day was perfect, the canyon was very good interesting and the Team run whit not problem all the gorge, Good water falls, beautiful rapids and one portage.

1er.D. New river in Pucòn

12-12-06 .Another Good Day in my Home town.
Awesome day in a new river, after scouting for a days, the uppers mountains of Huincapalihue vally have many sorprice and good stuff to run.

The Remeco river, is good to included on the list a new River in the Pucon area, one more river for this incredible Creeking paradise...

Thanks to Jeff,juanjo and chico for came whit me and discover this new awesome river.
In two days more I plan to run another new River in the uppers vally of Curarrehue...

Our pricipal rider "Rodrigo Tuschner" is member of the Jacksonkayak Team.
Now we can say that he is ready to go big in his Super Star on waves and the Rocker in the most biggers water fall in Argentina and Chile for this year.


All start like a dream, sometime I can not believe became true. I never thought I would make so many friends from whom I learnt so much of what I know now.

I start kayaking 10 years ago, in the incredible Pucòn town in the south of Chile, this little town have so many different rivers, creeks, Big Water, Good Water Falls and awesome volcano, lakes and mountains.

After kayaking 10 years in my home town in the summer time, and have had the opportunity to paddle whit so many good kayakers friends, this year I have the opportunity to make my first “Pucón White Water Guide Book” whit all the info about 16 different rivers in the Pucón area.

I want to say thanks to Carman and Eric “Jackson Kayak” to help and support a news kayakers like me and mainly to make reality the dreams of many kayakers when creating the new design to continue make the kayak sport a incredible “Life Style”

One of my principal objective for this year is rum one of the bigger Water Falls in my home town, the Palguin Water Fall, 28 Mts. Of course my Rocker came whit me.
